The Merritt Oilerettes golf team has secured a spot in the state tournament, ranked #7. This exciting announcement was made by Coach Heath Stehr to the Merritt High Schoolers and the girls’ golf team.
The Oilerettes will be playing 18 holes on Wednesday and Thursday at the Falconhead Golf & Tennis Resort in Burneyville, OK. It’s a proud moment for the school and the team, as they get ready to represent Merritt High School on the statewide stage.
Coach Stehr spoke with pride about his team and the hard work they’ve put in to get this far. He said, “They’ve already done a great job, I couldn’t be more proud of them for the year.
