HometownTV’s Nathan Brewer sits down with Tom Ivester, City Manager of Elk City, to talk about the progress of the new pool in Ackley Park. In this video, Ivester shares that the construction crew has recently tested the deep end of the pool with water to ensure it can hold water. They have already tested the kiddie pool and it passed, so this was the next step in the construction process. The crew is confident that the construction will be completed by Memorial Day 2023, and Ivester predicts a possible opening in June. The new pool will feature exciting new slides and other amenities.
