A power outage during lunchtime on Friday in Elk City left many residents frustrated and confused. The cause? A U.S. Foods delivery truck hit a power pole behind the White Buffalo Coffee Shop. According to witnesses, the U.S. Foods delivery truck was attempting to make a delivery behind the coffee shop when it hit the power pole. The impact caused the pole to lean and knocked out power to several businesses and homes in the area.
Public Service Company of Oklahoma crews were quickly on the scene and worked to restore power as soon as possible.
