Western Oklahoma Alzheimer’s Collaborative Announces Upcoming Events

In a recent interview with HometownTV’s Drew Cobb, members of the Western Oklahoma Alzheimer’s Collaborative (WOAC) shared details on their upcoming meetings and events.

WOAC is a non-profit organization that hosts a support group for family members, caregivers, and friends of individuals struggling with Alzheimer’s. Their meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 6 PM at First Assembly of God in Elk City, Oklahoma.

During the interview, Krisi Chervenka discussed the upcoming Baking for Bikers event, hosted by the Western Plains Downed Bikers Association. The event will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023, from 10 AM to 5 PM at the Elk City Convention Center.

Sandy Barr encouraged sponsors and vendors to volunteer for the Paint the Town Purple Week event, which will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at the Arrowhead Center in Elk City. Paint the Town Purple Week runs from June 19-24, and those interested in signing up for the June 24 events can visit woac-ec.org.

Additionally, a Western Oklahoma Alzheimer’s Collaborative meeting will be held to finalize plans for Paint the Town Purple Week on May 11, 2023, at 6 PM at First Assembly of God in Elk City.
