HometownTV’s cameras were rolling as Michael Sloan, advisor for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), presented the “Rising Star” award to several 8th-grade students at Elk City Middle School’s Brown & White Assembly.
The awards were given to students who have demonstrated outstanding Christian character, commitment, and influence in their school and community. The select group of students were chosen by teachers and staff from 130 Elk City students.
