Elk City Carnegie Library Offers Exciting Future Events and Summer Reading Programs
The Elk City Carnegie Library is more than just a place to borrow books. In a recent interview with HometownTV’s Drew Cobb, Marketing Director DeAun Ivester shared some exciting upcoming events and programs available to the community.
One of the main topics discussed was the summer reading program, which is open to children, teens, and adults. Mrs. Ivester explained that the program is not just about reading books, but also about participating in fun activities and events related to the theme. This year’s theme is “Tails and Tales” and will feature animal-themed programs, including a live animal show.
Mrs. Ivester also emphasized the benefits of having a library card, including free access to books, eBooks, audiobooks, movies, and more. She explained that the library is more than just a place to check out books and encourages everyone to come in and explore all that the library has to offer.
In addition to the summer reading program, the library has several other events planned for the coming months, including a virtual art exhibit, a history walk, and a STEM program for teens.
The Elk City Carnegie Library is a valuable resource for the community, and Mrs. Ivester’s interview highlights just a few of the exciting programs and events available. If you haven’t already, be sure to get your library card and start taking advantage of all that the library has to offer.
